Steven Tyler Spends The Day In His $1.1 Million Dollar Car

Steven Tyler spent his afternoon in the drivers seat of his Hennessey Venom GT Spyder the other day. Tyler had the car delivered to him almost a year ago now and this is the first time we’ve actually spotted him driving it around. It looks like he’s feeling pretty comfortable behind the wheel!

That car is certainly one hell of a way to putz around town. Good on Tyler for actually picking up something unique, rather than slapping some tired wheels on another SUV that everybody has.

While its a pretty awesome car in many aspects I dont think its much fun for town. Clutch is supposed to be heavy as hell, you need boost for everything and any random 6pot can outrun you in a quick overtaking, and probabily the turning radius is halfa mile etc…

It would be really awesome if people on the internet made comments based on any kind of actual knowledge instead of completely talking out their ass. I’ve driven this car, twice. Not only is the clutch not too heavy for daily use, there is 600 lb/ft of torque and 700 horsepower available at 2,000 RPM. It’s a 7-liter engine, you don’t need boost for anything besides guaranteeing you’ll need a change of underwear. And the next time you see Mr. Tyler in it, try to overtake him in “any random 6 pot,” and just watch what happens. I have actual knowledge that you don’t have the first fucking clue what you’re talking about.

If youre really Farah, then my bad. Ive watched a few tests thats why I said heavy clutch, and the boost thing, even watched yours but honestly, dont remember the particulars.
And while Ive never driven anything that powerful, Ive driven chipped turbos (petrol) that were supposed to have most of the torque at like 1800-2500 rpm but in reality, that was never ever ever true. Youd take off from a side road onto the main, pedal down to the floor and you could count to 2 or 3 before anything happened. Always had to burn the clutch and pump it to get a proper launch. But I guess 7l has enough torque on its own you cannot even use the extra power until you hit 60 or so. I just so f*cking hate turboed cars, no offense.
Might have been talking a bit out of my ass, youre right.
