Barry Weiss is known as “the collector” on the hit show Storage Wars and the truth of the matter is that Barry unlike many of the others really is the collector of many things, one being nice cars and motorcycles.
Now not all the cars we see him driving in the show are his but this hot-rod if you can call it that is one of his latest scores. It’s called the “BEATNIK” and was built by hot rod builder Gary Chopit. It started out as a 1955 Ford and then was transformed into the world’s largest bubble top custom car…. much like the the original Beatnik Bandit. It features a Cadillac front end and a very futuristic interior along with and exposed engine. The body is completely metal and the car took 3 years to build.
The next season of Jersey Shore (and most likely the last) recently started filming at the shore house. The cast was spotted pulling up to the house in separate cars – Vinny Guadagnino pulled up in a Mercedes-Benz E550, DJ Pauly D showed up in a white Cadillac Escalade with some hideous white wheels, Snooki showed up in her customized Cadillac Escalade EXT while stumbling around like normal (even without alcohol), Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino showed up in his white Jeep Wrangler and Deena Nicole kept things real (real boring) by showing up in a Mazda 3. While these guys are making plenty of money we wouldn’t be surprised if they rack up some debt with the they have.
There are a lot of cars on the roads in Los Angeles so to have the title “most famous car in L.A.” is a pretty big deal and that’s just what Storage Wars collector Barry Weiss‘ “Cowboy Cadillac” is known for. The chopped up 1947 Cadillac is definitely a head turner. Barry has been a collector for most of his life so he knows when he comes across something that’s the cream of the crop and his car collection really reflects that. He’s definitely one of a kind and so is his Caddy. What do you think of Barry’s ride?
Pawn Stars’ Rick Harrison doesn’t mind throwing down the big bucks when he knows what he wants. Rick did just that when he purchased his mean looking Porsche Panamera (below). We have to admit this car is actually growing on us. What do you think?
We’re having serious doubts that this Chevy Sonic will actually make it coast to coast but don’t tell Andy Richter that.
Conan O’Brien’s sidekick Andy Richter is on a mission to drive a new Chevy Sonic from Los Angeles to New York in just three days while the rest of Conan’s crew and Conan himself take the normal route and board a plane to get to NYC for his four day broadcast from the Beacon Theater. Why is Andy driving? Well, I have no idea but whatever Conan says, Andy does I guess? I can think of a lot of other cars I’d rather be driving if it was me…
Watch the video below to see just how excited Andy is when he hears about what’s in store for him.
